I Like Your Picture

We help you improve your photography with visual storytelling. What does that mean? Visual Storytelling is a method of approaching your photography with the knowledge of who you’re trying to serve with your photos, and what emotion you want to make them feel. We encourage you to concentrate on your subject, light and background to create a photo your audience loves. We're William & Lee Beem. I’m glad you found us! Understand what depth is in your photography and how to use it to make your subject pop. We'll share 5 techniques to show depth in your photos.

We know that shapes are very powerful when used in photography, but you can turn shapes into dimensions by showing depth in your photos. A sense of depth leading from foreground to middle and background encourages your viewers to step inside your photo.

Depth creates a sense of reality in your photos.

You can create a sense of depth using leading lines, perspective, color separation or depth of field.

We'll discuss examples of how to use each technique (and a bonus tip), as well as tell you how to apply these techniques in your photography.

It doesn't matter if your genre of photography is portraiture, landscape, street or food photography. These concepts will work for every type of photo.
